Hi there! My name is Whitney Lynch (maiden name Kipp, hence the name of the business) and I'm the owner of Kippcakes Baking Company. I'm a self-professing cupcake enthusiast, dessert lover and learn-as-you-go baker.

I began baking in a community economics club at a young age. Throughout my time in the club, I would bake oodles and oodles of cupcakes, muffins, breads and pies and bring them to the fair, have them judged and win ribbons. My passion for baking began to grow during that time.

Year after year, I kept trying new recipes and new flavors. I "tried" to perfect the cupcake. (News flash, I still don't know what I'm doing.) But over time I came to find my own recipes and a passion I loved. Once I graduated from college, I decided to start my business part time. In 2020, I partnered with a wedding venue and Kippcakes took off, full time!

I am also on the Knot and since the beginning of 2021 until now, I've baked for over 100 weddings, and dozens more birthday parties, showers, and special occasions.​ I've been serving the Northern Colorado area (Loveland, Johnstown, Windsor, Fort Colins) with sweet treats since January 2022. It would be my joy to serve you! During the summer, you might see me at local Farmers Markets - in Windsor and Timnath.

I live in Johnstown, Colorado with my wonderful, supportive husband and we have two kids together, Harper and Theo. Those three are my "why" and what drives me in this business. We love Colorado and all the adventure it brings.
